Focus on thermal technology since 1972

In the picturesque town of Police nad Metují in Eastern Bohemia, the globally known REGO brand of adjustable thermostats and heating system regulators was born in 1972, when Kovopol a.s. founded a manufacturing division for adjustable thermostats and control technology.

In 2002 the German company Microtherm GmbH acquired an ownership stake in Kovopol RT s.r.o. In 2005 Microtherm GmbH purchased the remaining 41 % and became the sole owner of Microtherm CZ s.r.o.

In 2016, Thermotech GROUPE s.r.o. acquired the production program and the world-renowned REGO brand from Microtherm CZ s.r.o. We continue this tradition — our mission is to keep the production of regulators and adjustable thermostats in the Czech Republic.

In 2018 we launched our own production of temperature sensors, expanding the portfolio beyond thermostats and regulators into precise sensing for industrial, appliance and HVAC applications.

In 2026 we open a new manufacturing plant — a modern facility that significantly increases production capacity, brings advanced assembly lines and prepares Thermotech GROUPE for further international growth.
